Why was my vehicle towed or booted?

Vehicles are towed or immobilized for violations of private property parking rules. Common reasons include:

  • No valid resident permit

  • Expired or missing visitor registration

  • Parked in a reserved or assigned space without authorization

  • Parking in a handicap space without a valid placard or plate

  • Blocking fire lanes, driveways, or access areas

  • Parking outside designated areas

All enforcement is based on posted signage and property management authorization.

What do I need to bring to release my vehicle?

Typically required:

  • Valid government-issued photo ID

  • Proof of ownership or authorization (registration, insurance card, rental agreement, etc.)

  • Payment for applicable fees

Additional verification may be required if you are not the registered owner.

What payment methods are accepted?

Please call ahead to confirm requirements.

What if my vehicle has a boot?

Do not attempt to remove or tamper with the boot. Contact us to arrange removal after payment and verification. Additional fees may apply for after-hours service.

My vehicle had a visitor permit — why was it still towed or booted?

A visitor permit does not allow parking in restricted areas such as:

  • Resident-only spaces

  • Reserved/assigned spots

  • Handicap spaces without a valid placard

  • Fire lanes or prohibited zones

The permit must also match the correct license plate information.

Permit must be valid at the time of the booting.

I just registered my vehicle — can the fees be waived?

Vehicle registration after enforcement does not automatically cancel violations or fees. Any courtesy adjustments must be authorized by property management and towing company.

Release hours and availability vary by location. Contact 704-605-5569 for current release times and after-hours procedures.

Can I dispute the tow or boot?

  • Supporting documentation (permit confirmation, visitor registration, lease authorization, etc.)

Note: Enforcement is based on property rules. For policy-related concerns, you may also need to contact the leasing office or property management.

Police Interaction / Law Enforcement Questions

Can police waive towing or boot fees?
No. Law enforcement officers do not have authority to waive or modify fees related to private property towing or immobilization. Any fee adjustments or courtesy releases must be authorized by property management and/or our company according to the property’s policies.

Should I call the police if my vehicle was towed?
If you believe your vehicle was stolen or cannot locate it, you may contact local law enforcement to check if the vehicle was reported as towed. Otherwise, contacting us directly at 704-605-5569 is the fastest way to get information and release instructions.

What if police are present during a tow or boot situation?
If law enforcement responds, they may help maintain order and safety but do not override private property parking enforcement policies unless a legal issue is identified.
